Red Belly Piranha

A graphite illustration of a Red Bellied Piranha, alongside a few progress shots of it. This piece was part of a series of four graphite illustrations of amazon river fish, which also includes an Arapaima, Redtail Catfish and a Peacock Bass, which were drawn for the Field Museum to display in the Play-Lab. The Play-Lab is an interactive area for families with young kids and the intent of this new art is to show kids that art and science often go hand in hand with each other.
