An 8 page autobiographical zine I made as a final for one of my classes at SAIC named DMV Days. This zine is a collection of one page stories of funny or memorable times I had with close friends during the age in which we all learned to drive. Cars are a key to freedom during an age where we were all figuring things out and also still under the control of our parents. After my friends and I got our licenses, we were able to make fun memories at our own leisure. The name and cover is also a reference to Gorillaz, which is a band my friends and I loved dearly during the time these stories took place. I portrayed myself and all of my friends as anthropomorphic animals that I felt fit our personalities and general vibes, which made it much more fun to draw.
