Chicago Pigeons

A work in progress of a variety of Pigeons I've taken photos of throughout my time living in Chicago. Each Pigeon is at various stages of completion, which I think shows a wonderful depiction of the process of painting these beautiful little birds. Pigeons are very smart critters that often get a bad rep, and for no good reason either, as we abandoned them as pets and working companions. I wanted to commemorate them by taking photos of ones that I was able to get decently close to and put them all together in a large piece. The piece itself is 15 x 23 inches.
