Archaeopteryx Illustration

A digital Scientific Illustration Depicting an Archaeopteryx, based around the newly unveiled Chicago Archaeopteryx residing at the Field Museum. This piece was created and vetted by scientist Jingmai O'Connor, who worked with me to develop a more accurate depiction of what an archaeopteryx could have looked like. Archaepteryx is a very important specimen, notable for its use in linking the connection between dinosaurs and modern day birds.
